    Hearty support to foreign students

Wakeijuku welcomes foreign students from any part of the globe.  This is the age of Globalization prevailing everywhere in the world---in the business fields, in the universities, and of course in Wakeijuku, too, where many foreign students now enjoy a community life of Wakeijuku, menfs dormitory of college students, with Japanese students.Itfs natural that many of foreign students coming to Japan should have strong Wishes to gStudy Japanese culturesh or gGet Japanese language to communicate fluentlyh or  gHave Japanese friends of college student.h  In order to follow up such demand, Wakeijuku provides you foreign students of a community life living with Japanese students. In Wakeijuku there are diverse circle activities and events organized, through which you will be able to touch Japan, what is Japanese, what is Japanese cultures. In Wakeijuku foreign students are not treated differently from Japanese students, but   in the same manner as Japanese students. Foreign students live here totally in the same conditions as Japanese students do. For instance, there is no difference in conditions of room, meal and bathroom (one big public bathroom for all dormitory mates).

Residents of Higashi-ryo communicate in Japanese as a common language. This is the same for all other dormitories of  Wakeijuku. Thus, Higashi-ryo has a whiteboard which is an information board to foreign students, in which important information and/or messages are indicated in English for foreign students who otherwise might miss such information. Dormitory residents organize a committee among students, in which sub-committee in charge of foreign students hKokusai-buh is organized to work for assisting foreign studentsf dormitory life, also for supporting communication with Japanese students and having advices for the case of some difficulties in daily life. While, Higashi-ryo office staff is also any time ready to have suggestions/advices to foreign students whenever they need help. Kokusai-bu sometime holds meetings with foreign students so that communication among dormitory mates, between foreign students and Japanese students will be activated further..Itfs expected that the number of foreign students, from various part of the globe, joining and experiencing Wakeijuku will increase year by year. Community life in Wakeijuku where there is no boarder for friendship among dormitory mates provides you of chances to have a fruitful exchange of friendship and circumstances to have a vivid experience to get each otherfs culture.
